Submission Support & FAQ

Have questions about submissions, formatting, or the review process? We're here to help you succeed.

Can I submit to multiple SDG tracks?

You must select one primary SDG track during submission. However, interdisciplinary work naturally aligns with multiple SDGs. Mention secondary SDG connections in your abstract, and track chairs may assign cross-track reviewers if appropriate.

What if I miss the submission deadline?

The main deadline (March 5, 2026) is firm with no extensions. However, Youth Track participants (high school and undergraduate) receive an automatic 10-day extension to March 15. Researchers from underrepresented regions may email submissions@isdgf.org to request accommodation.

Is there a submission fee?

No, there is no submission fee. EasyChair submission and double-blind peer review are completely free. Registration fees apply only after acceptance for authors who wish to present and have their work published in proceedings.

Can undergraduate or high school students submit?

Absolutely! ISDGF welcomes submissions from students at all levels. We have a dedicated Youth Track with extended deadlines and mentorship support. Student-led research with faculty supervision is encouraged. Use the Youth Track designation during EasyChair submission.

What happens after I submit?

You'll receive an instant confirmation email with your submission ID. Your work is then assigned to expert reviewers based on SDG track and expertise. You can track review status in EasyChair. Expect a decision by February 28, 2026, with detailed reviewer feedback regardless of outcome.

Can I submit work that's been presented elsewhere?

Work previously presented at workshops, symposiums, or internal institutional events is acceptable if not formally published in proceedings or journals. You must disclose prior presentations in your cover letter. Work currently under review elsewhere or already published is not eligible.

Do all authors need to register?

At least one author per accepted submission must register for the conference by the early registration deadline (March 20, 2026). Additional co-authors are welcome but not required to register. Student registration rates are significantly discounted.

Is virtual presentation accepted?

Yes! ISDGF is a hybrid conference with full virtual participation options. You can present remotely via live video session, pre-recorded presentation, or virtual poster hall. Virtual registration includes access to all sessions, networking, and the same publication opportunities.
